This is pretty much the silver bullet that proves the US system is hopelessly biased. Think about it;

A white woman considered a pillar of the community testifies a black youth raped her daughter.. He is convicted by a jury of his peers. He never forced himself on her, but the girls mother hates black people dating her daughter.


A justice system that depends on the whims of the public is not justice, it is mob rule.

Yes. In all seriousness, why do you state that? I happen to agree with what you say. It is, however, better than a lot of other legal systems in the world. Certainly not the world's or history's best. But the u.s. is NOT the world leader in much really.
