Who comes up with these ideas? 80' was all about undercover cops. 90' ninja's. 2000' super powers and now 2024' undercover assassins. Equalizer, taken etc.
Bee keeper

He might as well be the garbage man
FalconPaunch!
NOT THE BEES!
Kazenji
This film comes out this week
Patient_Leech
I don't really have much interest in watching Jason Statham being Jason Statham again and again.
Robtard
I'd be interested in this film if it was Statham being a normal bee keeper who leads a normal to kinda boring life of tending his bees, collecting honey and selling it at the side of road.
Maybe he has an interest in jazz or something.

Saw this tonight and it was all sorts of ridiculous, stupid cheesy fun. Could've had a bit more extremity to the violence but all things considered it was braw. Always good when an action movie makes you smile.

I've heard it this is somewhat decent and not the total shit show people were expecting.

Anymore extreme violence and it would've turned into a satire. He was chopping off fingers with band saws, jabbing shotgun barrels into necks, chopping people in half with elevators and dogging a knife through a guys cheek.

The car and bridge one was the best. It was 90% the way to satirical homage to 80s action movies anyway with the ridiculous antagonist escalation from scam call centre to President of the United States as well as most of the other "bad guys" along the way. "G.o.a.t" suit, mad South African guy etc.

That was just pure comedy. I laughed so hard when I noticed the transition to crash dummy.
Agreed about the South African. He earned every dollar they paid him lol.

So you recommend??

^^^Dude, he said it was braw. You know braw is dope!
Patient_Leech
I don't know that's Scottish bastard's Scottishisms!
And a lot of people say "God is Dope", which makes me think dope isn't very good either.
"We're all stars now... in the Dope Show..."

Here you go, my stereotypically uncultured American friend.
Robtard
"Scottishisms" is a good word

I looked it up. That's how I knew it was Scottish!
Who is the stereotype now...? using your Scottishisms!
Patient_Leech
I just assume most Scottish people look like Fat Bastard...

Watched it. Loved it.
Best bee related movie since that Seinfeld one w. the inter-species romance.
Patient_Leech
I didn't realize this is David Ayer. I may have to re-evaluate...
KingD19
Josh Hutcherson plays a really good annoying little shit.
riv6672
^^^I taught him everything I know!

Robtard
This was exactly what the previews showed, Jason Statham kicking everyone's ass while scorning and speaking in a gruff voice, but it's a notch above most of his other I-Kick-Everyone's-Ass films.
By only real complaint is that he didn't kill more people, he let a bunch of the deplorable go. Shame.

Were the reviews buzzing?
Robtard
More like droning

Patient_Leech
I confess I did kind of enjoy this. I can't bring myself to give it any more than 7/10, but I was amused by the over-the-top silliness. Not that it's anywhere near as good as it, but the level of old-school action flavor reminded me a little bit of Con Air. And that's a big compliment.
Patient_Leech
Oh yeah, I liked that this guy even kind of looked like a bee... Lol..

Seems honey is not as flammable as the film made it seem. I know, if you can't trust action films, what can you trust.
