Since a thread was never made for it here and before I forget to make one again..

While the trailer had me skeptical, I surprisingly enjoyed this live action take. The main problem with it was how many arcs it skipped around and some things happening out of order, but beyond that, I pretty much felt the spirit of the series with it.

They just couldn't wait some arcs before having the whole Toguro thing I guess, but he was handled well there, for a condensed series and all. Also liked some of the little differences like how Genkai also helped train Kuwabara while Yusuke was doing his usual thing.

The fights with Toguro itself was nothing short of great still. The way they tied him to Yusuke with the flashback exposition was also fresh, but am glad there wasn't quite as much exposition with it as in the anime, and so you had more screen time of him fighting Yusuke and his whole team; although it was otherwise kind of a diet version of the Dark Tournament arc, but the guy who played Toguro nailed it. The CG for his full demon form was alright too, for being where most of the budget went.
