Inglorious Basterds and The Kingsman had a love child. Cool.

I'll watch most anything if it shows Nazis being beaten killed.

Guy Ritchie is another selling point for me, I enjoy most of his films.

Oh, dude! I was just asking for more Nazi killing movies! Wasn't I, Rob?

I generally don't bother with Guy Ritchie films, but I will probably make an exception for this!! 😄😄

Blood and Gold is another fun nazi killing movie. It's on Netflix.

Also, Guy Ritchie gets a bad rap since his Madonna days. The Gentleman and The Covenant are both excellent.

You were and Sir Guy Ritchie answered.

He's a good director. You should check out his more highly rated films.

That looks great.

I don't have Netflix anymore, but I should have other ways. Thanks!

I should. I think I've only seen Snatch and Sherlock Holmes. It was a long ass time ago. I didn't hate them. It's just his choppy editing that generally turns me off.

There's a little bit of that in The Gentleman but scenes like this are what make it tremendous.

^^^I'm w. you on both counts!
One of my great regrets in life is, I never got to punch a Nazi.

There's still time. Lots of them running around in the US.

riv6672
Yeah, better a Neo-Nazi than no Nazi at all. big grin

It only counts if you do it while listening to Bash the Fash by Oi Polloi

riv6672
^^^Nah.

Patient_Leech
Got tickets for this for tonight for after our anniversary dinner.

Nothing says "happy anniversary" like some good Nazi killin'.

riv6672
^^^No such thing as a good Nazi!!!

Patient_Leech
I'm embarrassed, but I confess I was a bit too snoozie halfway through the movie. (Late movie after a busy day, big dinner and extra beer was poorly planned). But I really enjoyed the first act. I was laughing and enjoying the similarities to Inglorious Basterds.

I will have to catch the rest of it later. 🤦

^^^Just reading about your evening made me sleepy, so no harm no foul it happens!

Went and watched this today; I forgot I made this thread.
It was a kick ass movie, and unlike Ingloriius Basterds I very much enjoyed the second half (sorry Tarantino but the spy stuff derailed some of the fun for me).

Shadow_King
Disappointed this movie is not showing in theaters in Canada, went straight to streaming services.

Are you sure it's streaming? If it was it would be online and I don't see it online.

I was finally able to finish this.

I rather enjoyed it quite a lot.

Very Inglorious Basterds, and while it doesn't exactly have the Tarantino touch, it does at least have the added bonus of being somewhat true. So that's really cool.

thumb up
