Access to the powers is not a problem per se - it's that he needs to be smart to use them properly.

That's often the problem, hence why he is called "Manjobber" on the Internet. It's not something we made up on KMC.

I guess after that he just hits Mongul with TP attacks or something.

Not sure why I see Mongul choking the life out of J'onn, but in a forum match, this is MMH's fight to lose, based entirely upon what he has done when giving it his all. This should really be a no contest.

i agree. in a book i'd say mongul all day. in a forum match where he uses his powers to the fullest--even without tp--mm should be able to take him out.

Mongul probably wins in a comic. MMH wins if it's the comicvine or cbr versions.

J'ohn is canonically more powerful than Superman, easy win.

Mongul already beat his ass pre crisis and that was specifically mentioned in Warworld saga just recently.

Well yes, but J'ohn was trying to reason with him and Superman was being his usual dick self.

And Mongul needed Superman to put MM out of the way to steal his key to warworld (Only put him down by ambush), so that says a lot.

umm,no, MMH gave Superman warning. And when MMH sees there is no hope for convincing Superman to give up, MMH strikes.
MMH is the one who strikes first, and prepares specific method(I.E Kryptonite) to deal Superman

And no, Ultraman no longer has the same weakness in there since way back in JLA run Ultraman has time-release capsules to ensure he gets enough Anti-Kryptonite

So in summary.
1)You're wrong in Superman struggling a lot more than MMH
2)You're wrong with Ultraman's powers(or more accurate, his weakness)

I guess it's possible that using his powers in a truly efficient, video game manner consumes too much energy or requires too much focus, that's why he always gets assraped instead... and feels relieved.

Morrison J'ohn would totally beat him because he used his powers effectively. The mini where he beat Kanto by evolving into a giant ork with a shield and weird scythe thing, and the time he went gumby on a monster that was as strong as Superman, easily tanked the punch, and engulfed him, like Plastic Man would have done.


What would Mongul do but lose, all he has is brute strength.
