Looks like a proper horror movie. Looking forward to this.

^^^I've accepted that.
Will watch this, why not.
BruceSkywalker
I've never read the com or seen the original films
tis looks rather interesting
Impediment
I also loved the two Hellboy animated films.
I hope we get more.
This film looks definitely low budget but very well paced and planned.
Less is more.
NemeBro
Ya'll are ****ing crazy this looks like total dogshit.

Kazenji
I'll be checking the movie out, Just not sold on the Hellboy makeup..guess i'm so used to Del Toro's version so much.

This is going straight to streaming instead of a theatrical release.
Kazenji
Been hearing the film isn't that good anyway despite Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola being involved with the script.

It's showing at my cinema

Another reboot already?
Robtard
The David Harbour film flopped, so yup.
riv6672
The Harbour Film had some good FX, though. Totally enjoyed that.

They tried Hellboy as a PG-13 property under Del Toro, and got critical respect but no audience. Then the R-rated reboot, which got neither. Is this something that's never going to get a wide enough audience?

^^^He was the least goofy bright red stone hand, humanoid ape-goat ever seen onscreen imho.
The 2019 movie had Lobster Johnson.
Even though it was just a cameo that gives it a special place in my memory vault.
Patient_Leech
Yeah, even speaking as someone who actually likes the 2019 film (more for the director and production design), I do find it odd that they rushed back to doing another reboot that not many people seem to want.

This was a good movie that faithfully adapted the three issue story.
The low budget CGI effects were noticeable and kinda cringy at times, but the overall tone, pacing, and acting were well done.
Robtard
I didn't care for it, can't say it was awful, but it also wasn't very good. No desire to watch again, while I still randomly watch the Pearlman films.
The noticeable cheap prosthetics and makeup on Hellboy was lame though. Budget more than $150.00 next time.

Hm, alright. I was planning to probably just skip this. But I might give it a chance at some point.
HulkIsHulk
Got this. Might watch in few days

^^^I give this review 7 Out Of 10.
Well done.
HulkIsHulk
Started watching this movie. First 20 minutes scream try-hard, trying and failing to give the horror atmosphere

I mean, it's clearly low budget, and I don't necessarily fault it for that, but it certainly didn't help things. Don't do CGI creatures with sequences that should be exciting and impressive if you don't have much budget... do something more morbid and practical. Just a very poor first act, so I doubt I'll finish this.
At least the 2019 film wasn't boring. It knew what it was and played into it pretty well.
Struggle for 10 mins more. I thought the same when I saw it too. If you still don't like it, okay no prob.

Fair enough, but it might be hard to find the motivation to pick back up where I left off.
