I'm extremely nervous about this because to me Alien should inherently NOT be set on Earth. It just isn't right.
But I have a friend who says this Noah Hawley guy is good, because his Fargo show is good. I plan to give that show a shot at some point.

"When a mysterious vessel crash-lands on earth, a young woman and a rag-tag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet's greatest threat."
So nervous. It needs to be set at least partially on some distant planet or space station or something. The setting is sooooo important for Alien and earth is not the right place!!

Well they have done stories set on earth with the Xenomorph in the comics/Novels
He was also involved with a Marvel show called Legion.

I think this is supposed to focus on the A.I. and androids of the series, at least initially. You know, Weyland Yutani and such.
I just feel like if the aliens make it to earth this early in the timeline, it would be lights out for humanity and nothing else that takes place in the series would happen. So I wonder how it will be interesting enough for audiences for hours of content. I wonder if it'll be boring like Blade Runner, lol.

Well I watched Fargo Season 1 and it's f#cking great. Damn.
So I have faith in Noah Hawley now. We may be in for a treat.
Although I still am skeptical how Alienesque it's going to be since it's set on Earth as a prequel, but anyway. At least Noah Hawley kicks ass and it should be interesting.
BruceSkywalker
depending on the cast i'll prolly watch

The "Destination" teaser is pretty cool.
I hope there is an episode or two that takes place on the ship. That would be a kickass way to kick off the show!

Only know Timothy Olyphant from the cast, He's usually pretty good in the roles
that he's been given.
Victor Shaw
H.R.Giger, the designer of the alien in the 1979 movie, once got stopped by Dutch customs because of his drawings, which they thought were photographs. Giger later said "Where on Earth did they think I could have photographed my subjects? In hell, perhaps?"

Yeah, he's pretty much the only name I recognize, too. But I figured out I know one of the actresses from The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions...

She plays Maggie...

Yeah, there's a bunch of little teasers. The Gestation one is pretty cool. No real trailer yet, though.
I think I saw the titles for the episodes released...
"Neverland"
"Mr. October"
"Metamorphosis"
"Observation"
"Emergence"
"The Fly"
"In Space, No One"
"The Real Monsters"

I'm generally excited for this. I hope it's violent and I hope the story is good

I saw the first 30 seconds or so of the full trailer. I'm sold. I think it's creative stuff. Looking forward to this.
