loved nuke.

Nuke wins this easily. Especially considering the distance the fight starts at.

Didn't they fight in the past? I think DD did OK, though I remember him hurting himself badly hitting Nuke.

yeah dd beat him by going a bit out of character i think. if nuke gets his weapon to start it would be tough but matt can dodge. i'd still take dd here tbh.

Did Carver mix up Nuke and Nitro?

I'm basing this off of Nuke long range weapons. He has a huge advantage here. Then when you factor in that he is just as skilled and fast with a HUMONGOUS range advantage, he should stomp.

Daredevil is a bullet-timer, no?

Is Nuke anywhere near as fast?

Street level BS is outta control. Nuke has superhuman stats and powerful long range weapons. You'd think he'd stomp 10/10 but here we are.

Back in Born Again, Daredevil killed Nuke's helicopter support pilot who was gunning down people. With Nuke's own grenade launcher. That's because he was completely overwhelmed by Nuke in H2H and desperate.

Yes, he was partly overwhelmed by Nuke because he tried to fight him as though Nuke were human. It was only after pages of fighting Nuke that he realized he was enhanced. But while Daredevil knows who Nuke is now and certainly won't spend pages trying to pinpoint nerves and targeting normal human muscles anymore, Nuke seems to have gotten upgrades since.

Last I saw of Nuke was during Captain America vol.7 #12-14 when he fought Captain America (again) during Rick Remender's run. Nuke was straight-up bullet-proof and nearly killed both Cap and Falcon. Neither of them were even his main objective. He was brainwashed into killing civilian targets and Cap and Falcon were trying to stop him. For hours:

Current Nuke seems more like a psychotic trigger-happy John Steele. Kudos to those who remember who John Steele was, btw. But unless there are further appearances I haven't accounted for:

that's fair enough. if he did get some sort of upgrade that would certainly be the difference here. swore he was in some others books too that didn't depict him as being that tough but maybe not.

Paradoxically, if Nuke has his weapon, that is the only way I can see DD winning (by disarming him and using it on him). Easier said then done, of course, but as ODG said he was using the famed forum pressure points and it was doing nothing to Nuke.

i assume his club is still standard? matt ended up winning when he realized being cute wasn't cutting it and had him by the throat at the end. he certainly could have killed nuke there. if he fights brutal, he can still win this imo--especially with his club. at least based on that fight. if he really was amped as odg points out that would obviously be different.

I am not even sure Nuke is amped. AFAIK, you'd have to analyze Nuke's only other appearances during Wolverine: Origins and Thunderbolts to determine that.
