I think the process of fasting during the day including water, is incredibly unhealthy. I have a friend who is Muslim and he hates Ramadan. Although, he respects the nobility of sacrifice, he struggles with it being around non-Muslims ( or heathens, as some call it). Now I'm not the type to tell other people what to believe, it's his religion, it's his choice, but just like with a vegetarian, certain rules that don't make sense to me make it awkward to be friends with someone.
Seriously, I don't like Christians for similar reasons.
