While I had hopes for an eventual new DK game, not gonna lie, a 3D one for the first time since DK64 was not in my cards, let alone it happening over a Mario Odyssey 2 or some other 3D Mario. Felt like there was attempts to revitalize DK as a brand for awhile, and now we finally see it in new game form.
