why is everybody so curious about the green dots and posts??

Try not to bend your head around 'value' or what not. Just the more you particiapte the more dots you will get, that's all that is important.

That's messed up...it's probably how long the posts are, how many forums u've posted in and how many posts in total..meh.

why does it matter?

I think people are overcomplicating... don;t worry, people have gotten plenty of dots with something like 95% of their posts in the GDF! There is no big weird conspiracy here, or anything.

Why can't we just get dots by how many posts we get?

The green dots are under people's avatars.

I don't know if Raz took them off the default style or not, otherwise you need to go to Ep II Black or whatever it's called.

the dots serve no real purpose other then making people strive to get more posts.

They are just for show, we may not have them long anyways.
