Well...I was disappointed when the 'Social life' topic was closed...because people have begun to speak about schools, uniform,...

Normally we don't have to, but we have a regulation (about clothes)

we had to wear this awful marroon jumber with the school coat of arms on it, and stupid black 'school shoes' - the school had to aproove them befor u wore them!

oh...we had....no wait..still ahve uniforms at highschool. It a real ugly (towell like material ) suite. Nobody wears it though..it's been locked in a closet at school for about a year now. bweah....
Only really wore uniforms in 1-4 grades.

In Portugal only private schools have uniforms but not all, so they are very rare.

Well in England, all private and church schools wear uniform. I think other schools outside of cities may also wear uniforms too, but as a rule state schools in major city areas get away with non-uniform.

sorry, babe, ya wrong!! EVERYONE I know wheres uniform - at our school only sixth formers get away with it, and at the next school over the sixth form 'privelidge' is that they can choose between the jumper and the blazer! *gasps*

erm... last year (heat wave) and ... think... ... 6 years ago.... (also a heat wave)

london doesnt get that much rain... just cold biting winds and sizzling sunshine (usually NOT at the same time!). the north gets more rain than us southy peeps!

*Sigh* My school has uniforms.
Not much fun! But in a way it's easier to get out of the house in the morning without worrying about what to wear!
The kilts aren't that uncomfortable either!
