I read this email and it said that the star wars names where thought up this way Probably BS but its fun.
This is what you do:

Take the 1st 3letters of your last name and the 1st 2 letters of your 1st name.

Like so: Ana Godinho = GODAN

Then the 1st 2letters of your mothers 1st name and the 1st 3letter of the place/city you where born.

Like so: Maria (mothers 1st name) Lisbon (city I was born) = MALIS

My star wars name is Godan Malis
