hmm............

I like the orginal...........it was more of a horror movie than the rest........the rest were basically slasher flicks............that said, my favorite installments with Jason would have to be parts 4 (The Final Chapter) and 7.................

Worst ofcourse would be 8 and Jason Goes to Hell...........

i think the first one is extremely boring and totally not scary. didnt even have jason yet, who is the only reason to watch those movies... and 8 is my favorite, jason takes manhatton.... great comedy.

Jason being the only reason to watch those movies? There are alot of movies I watch and enjoy that don't have Jason Voorhies in them......Friday the 13 is one of them........so is Friday the 13 part 5, Jason Voorhies is not in that movie either.............

Actually none of the movies are scary..........hell......very few horror movies in general are scary........I can agree with you there.........I enjoy them none the less..........the Friday sequels were made purely for money........alot of times the scripts weren't even finished before they began filming........they just wanted to throw something else out into the market place before all of us movie goers forgot about Jason Voorhies............they have a nice doc. about this on the Jason X dvd......

lol........yeah.......Jason Takes Manhatten is funny.........it's almost like an exploitation film from the 70s at points........with stereotypes and whatnot...........it always pisses me off when I see Kelly Hu (Scorpion King, X-men 2) give an interview about past acting jobs and never mentions this movie................

friday the 13th was boring compared to other horror movie of the same time period.

yeah you can. mike myers is mortal basically. he just always somehow cheats death. jason simply cannot be killed because he is already dead. mike would not stand a chance.

Does anyone think that Tommy Jarvis really did kill the photogenic woman at the end of Part Five? That would be far the most horrifying thing that happened in that series. The other films are actually prettifications of reality, because only the villain is very violent.

Michael isnt invinsible at all. heres how he escapes death
part 1- gets shot but doesnt die, He is hurting at opening part 2
part 2- The place blows up and he is severly burned, part 4 opens he is in ambelance in route to hospital for burns,
part 4- falls into mine shaft, before thay blowit up he finds underground river and escapes.
part 5- Drawing a blank on ending here, its the one with the little girl and Bunny from platoon
part 6- Kill loomis, we never see what happens ecept Loomis screaming
part 7- Laury cuts his head off, however he put a paramedic in his close before the beheading
part 8- Drawing another blank
So basically Meyers is not supernatural, Just the luckiest mofo on earth.

The ending sequence in seven was best. I was hoping voorhess would squash the mutant - but it turned out that she was just another temporary character.

The mutant was an irritating monster, she was like a Midwitch Cuckoo, could have been squashed while still in the womb. Voorhees is inevitable, eternal and indestructable, so not irritating.

Freddy Krugar should just have been squashed when in the womb. Only an idiot would have allowed him to be delivered. That makes him irritating.

I also like the offhand absurd manner of Voorhees' resurrection in Part six! See the lyrics of the ending credits ("...and he craawled ouut of his hooole!)

To Backfire, yes I remember seeing the original in the film club and it was so feeble that everyone was laughing at it! The acting was really very poor indeed and the equipment was visible onscreen!

Voorhees is gruesome enough to be an effective villain.Part four gets much better in the last few minutes (we can see why he wears the hockey mask!) He looked even worse than he did in part seven!

Jason would have to be my fave bad buy out of any horror movie, i don't know, he just has this feel about him. hes unstoppable, i mean, in Jason X even after the ship blows up he is going, he would have taken them if it hadn't been for the token black man. and i'll have to watch all of them before i have a fave

mike doesnt have to cheat death bro he can take his victims out (normal people) with ease.and so what if he "cheats" his deaths that just proves how smart he is and jason is just one of those retarted freaks.

but yes that would be a great fight mike vs. jason ive said that about 1,00 times and mostly every forum talks about it now, well who cares, yes jason has the upper hand but hes retarded and mike has more brains than jason but jason might have a little more bronz than mike.

Mike Meyers is mortal and immortal at the same time. While he has been killed several times (yes, killed), he comes back to life by way of a Celtic demon that keeps him alive until he's killed all of his family. So as long as Laurie eludes him (and she's pretty good at it now), Mike's in the game. Add the brains and he's quite a contender for Jason.

I hated that movie.That movie was the stupidest thing I've seen since...well ever.What the ****?First they're on a boat and then they end up in Manhatten and Jason starts killing all the gang members.That was stupid.Jason sucks.

I think this is the best friday teh 13th movie. It's cheesy, yes. It's bad, yes. It's stupid, yes. But I find it to be the most purely entertaining of all the movies.

Jason sucks. He may be strong, but that's all. He has little to no intelligence, no resourcefulness, and no tactical skills. Mike Myers or Freddy (or both! ) would so kick Jason's ass in a fight

Mi Lord, your wrong Mike wouldint stand a chance, he couldint even beat Tommy Toyle, Jason beated Freddy in FVJ but some would say that it was a draw, Michael couldint have taken all that, that happend to Jason, Mike was shut a few times in the end of Part4 and he coes in a coma for a year. anyway these movie are great they alway have been and they always will be!

Putting Meyers into a confrontation with Freddy or Jason is simply unfair. Meyers is a real human, Thats IMO what makes him so scary. Jason and Freddy are these evil Vengful spirits, Meyers is an escaped mental patient. I feel the more real the more frightning, and meyers is definatley the most real of the three.
