Yhea I checked the movie too and it wasn't it I also checked the movie X-Files and that wasn't it either. I think it's a movie from before 2000 but it has to be during the 90's I think it's a comedy but I really can't really place it.

i think that is the reson it is so hard to figure out we have herd simeler lines in other movies and so its hard to remeber these exact lines from one movie

i keep thinking that the way it is phrased, it may be something this person is trying to get out of having done or admitting to...im thinking about how the quote sounds, what actors can i hear saying that in my head, the context of the quote...i also had thoughts of ghostbusters but i dont think thats it. dammit, i know this movie! it has to be one of my faves as i can hear the way its said but not the voice...

You are all insane. Look at other movie quote forums, there have been many destroyed by this "quote" I don't believe for a second that there is a quote out there that hundreds of movie quote experts can't pin down. This is simply something that sounds familiar.

it sounds familiar to us bec ause we have heard it before. get it? i KNOW ive heard it. doesnt matter if you think otherwise. and if you think its ridiculous, why are you even on this list? just avoid it in the future and we'll all be happier.

I've registered here for one reason, and one reason only. To tell you the answer. This quote was most recently said in Van Helsing. Remember the little ball of glass that had the power of the sun? But it didn't do anything (until later on).

The movies for me that came to mind when i first heard the quote were, Flight of the navigator, One of the Ghostbusters movie, A Gremlins movie, and the simpsons. I haven't checked them out yet, but what i get from the quote is that it is from a comedy that is still kinda serious, not like airplane or caddy shack or a comedy like that.
