I read in a topic below that someone said why didn't the matrix stop working for the time that Neo died....Well....What if it was going to stop working but brought Neo back to life...

What i mean is they say the machines need humans to survive, well maybe they brought Neo back and the point of The One is to keep the Matrix going???

Neo is not what keeps the Matrix "going" or running...........it was running before Thomas Anderson was ever born.........

Neo's significance to the Matrix is that his code (inside him) must be reinserted into the mainframe to prevent a cataclysmic system crash in the future (which I speculate the Smith virus would be the cause of the crash)............the system doesn't just crash the moment Neo dies.....or doesn't fullfill his purpose.............did the Matrix crash when he chose to save Trinity at the end of Reloaded instead of enter the mainframe? No it didn't...........
