God you really are far from home, first it's in the Welcome forum and its a lame question AND you're using a poll format for a general knowledge question. WTF.

pslice
what's the answer

unrpunk
the answer is a basalisk, in real life its a legless lizard.

BOPRecruit 16
sup newbie! next time, put this in the harry potter forums.

rowling got her information wrong about the basalisk. it's actually a lizard like unrpunk said. plus, snakes don't use hearing to know where their prey is. they use their sense of smell by flicking out their tongues.

LilyGinnyBlack
But, JK is using the information of the ancient mythical Basilisk, making everything she wrote down right! big grin

hayden's minx
is anybody also thinking that gorgeousactress used the signature space to put her real name?

angel4
All she asked was a simple question, why don't you people stop complaining about which forum it should be in and just answer it?????

country girl
it is just a really big snake Happy Dance
