Neo's pod has been the same pod that all of the ones have been placed into...as you can see when he wakes up, the pod drains and he falls down that water slide into the big pool...well there are no other drain holes for any of the other pods to fall down into so why would the machines have build that if they do not want the one or maybe they want the person who is supposed to be the one to fall into the pool where he will drown and die, but back to the main fact...since you only see this one drain plug that would mean that the one will always be in that one pod right???....give me your responses...

Maybe it was just a production design mistake.

How do you know there are no other pod-holes?

-=Urot=-
That is wrong.

If you noticed in M1 morpheus stated that he saw the dead liquified inorder to feed the living. The port holes were only for ejecting people who woke up and would not go back to sleep. If you notice in World Record the machines did everything in their power to put him back to sleep. If that didn't work they were ready to flush him because he would have contaminated the system. The samething happens to anyone that wakes up and relizes that they are not in the real world/The Martix anymore.

When a perosn wakes up it like tossing a stone in a still lake. Your imput/ouput signals change. And once they do you light up like an Xmas tree. Thats the main reason why they use the red pill. It blocks that signal inorder to make it easier to find you.

Also If you remember in M1 when Cypher was talking to Agent smith, he told him that he didnt want to remember ANYTHING. If he had even the smallest idea that he was living in a dream world, there would be a great chance that he would wake up again. Cypher didnt want that to happen.

The only exception to the rule so far would be the Kid. He willed himself out of the Matrix on his own. Did he activate the port hole on his own? We dont know yet. But what we do know is Neo and the gang had him on the ship at the end of that story.

So alot of these questions will be addressed in Nov. wink

Vim
the drain holes probaly only open when the machines disconnect the human. No one else was being disconnected at the time, so the other drain holes were closed up where you could not see them. And all questions will be answered on November 5th!! ... why couldn't that be tomorrow...??

When the kid self-substantiated, his body in the Matrix died so it would probably be impossible to place him back inside the Matrix using the same pod. So once he woke up - he aint going back smile

Also, I think it is possible that the pool they eject them into is the the pool they use to liquify the dead. Just a thought.

Not only r the pods there in case someone wakes up, they r there in case someone simply dies and needs to be washed out to replace the pod w another human baby...They then liquify that dead body to feed others...eeeewwwwsick...They don't always let the ones that wake up go...it's shown in the Animatrix.erm
