Does anyone have any pictures or know of any links to where Hayden (Anakin) is using the lightsabre we know Luke used in episodes 4 and 5 before he had his hand cut off. We know that Ben tells him it used to belong to his father. I hope that the Episode II production team have stayed close to the first three films for episode ii rather than swaying way off the mark like they did for Episode I. 'Padawan','midichlorians' and all that new stuff never once mentioined in the original trilogy. Even the lightsabres look more like toys than the ones in the first trilogy. As you can tell, I was a tad disappointed by Episode I. I thought it lacked any decent characters (i.e Han Solo,Chewbacca,Lando) and was more of an advert for toys.....there I said it!

It seems to me like there was one a while back where Hayden was holding two lightsabers, but I don't know where it is.

I think I know the shot you mean. It showed hayden in a break between shots holding what appears to be two saber prop blades and another where he appears to have two saber handles hanging from his belt.

Yeah, that's the one...but I don't know where the source of the photo is..so I don't know where to start looking for it at.

ben said to luke that the light sabre was lukes fathers and he wanted him to have it

but the children were kept secret from vader so i dont see why anakin has to have the blue lightsabre

ben also told luke that vader killed his father he just told him what he needed to here for him to become a jedi

thats why i think anakin wont have that lightsabre

I think at some point Anakin will use the saber that we see in ANH, but I don't know that it's going to be the one in EP2. It's possible that he gets the blue one later.

I think Lucas will include Anakins wishes for the Saber in their somewhere. It's such a key scene in ANH.

Besides, if it wasn't Anakins in ANH, whose was it?

It doesn't make sense that it would be someone else's..

And how would it make OB1 look, yet another lie from him, I really hope not.

Yeah, his credibity would be shot for sure.

I think we can take it as read; that IS Anakin's sabre and Hayden Chrsitensen will use it at some point.

You would think that...I hope GL doesn't pull anything confusing on us.
