the gungrave protagonist and hands down the protagonist of the best anime i've ever seen. you will respect the silent punisher of twilight, Bradon heat aka beyond the grave.
Brandon came from the slums of his city to become the top gunman of the mafia in a span of five years. he joined the mafia at the age of 17 to protect those he loved since he had no other of doing it (being an uneducated orphan). for those that he loved (maria and his best friend Harry MacDowell) Brandon became the expert marksman, the most loyal member of the mafia to its boss, Big Daddy, who would eventually look at Brandon as his son. as the power of the syndicate grew, Harry who had joined the syndicate (and who brandon followed so as to protect him) became more and more ambitious moving away from the "never betray the family". Wanting to topple Big Daddy and take over, Harry would eventually carry out many selfish actions but Brandon ignored them since he believed that Harry would clear his act eventually. but Harry wasn't too keen on changing. Brandon kept track of all his activities but kept quiet about it fearing for harry's life. Harry plans to inlcude brandon in the assassination of big daddy and finally tells him his plans. Brandon, shocked and angered, pulls out his gun since he was strong adherent of big daddy's "never betray family" rules.
does he shoot him? the man who was his best friend?
