Boo
The ultimate ghouls of SMB, these guys in numbers can be a real pain, lead by the big boo or the more sinister, King Boo these are worthy adversaries for the plumbers, who must be avoided at all costs.
Though their specifics change from game to game, one thing is almost always the same about Boos: they are bashful, cowardly bulbous ghosts that are typically white in color, though pink Boos are increasingly common. Almost all species of Boo will cover their faces and become invisible (and invulnerable) when looked at; however, if the concerning person's back is turned, the ghastly opportunist will cackle with glee and home in on their victim and strike. In most cases, even when not being looked at, Boos are invulnerable to most means of attack. Despite their advantages, Boos tend to be more afraid of their victim than their victim is afraid of them. Boos are characterized for their sub-species; despite their similarities in appearance and attack manner, Boo species tend to wildly differ in size, with some (such as Boo Buddies) being miniature, while others (such as Atomic Boos) are gigantic. The most famous of the Boo sub-species are Big Boos.
Despite being ghosts, Boos still have predators. The only known predator of Boos are Clubbas, which seem to highly fancy them, as seen in Tubba Blubba's lust for ghosts.
Boos tend to have a taste for the fine arts, as seen in Paper Mario and Mario Party 4.
