No off-topic BS here please. I don�t care about any grievances you have with each other within n this thread.

Alrighty! So, to start if off, a little information. The Zealot is the starting infantry of the Protoss, which is one of the three races playable in the PC Real-Time Strategy game Starcraft.

The Zealot possesses renown within the Starcraft universe, both within the actual storyline and to us gamers, because of how incredibly powerful it is. The Zealot is the strongest tier 1 infantry unit in the game, and is even strong enough to hang with the top tier 2 units! It possesses a high damage output, and a high defense with its combined standard armor and shielding. When it�s mobility is upgraded, it is the third fastest moving ground unit in the entire game, making it an excellent break-through unit, rushing unit, or map control unit, as well as a scout. The only off-set to the Zealot is that it is also very expensive, in tandem with the rest of the Protoss units. It is expensive, and builds slowly in comparison to the other Tier 1 units.

Zealot Physiology and Combat Specifications

Ever eager for battle, zealots train constantly to attune themselves more closely to the Khala's disciplines and prove themselves worthy of advancement. They exemplify the unbridled ferocity of the protoss at war. The formidable physique of a zealot is further enhanced by cybernetic implants and their coveted power suit. Yet a zealot is far more than the technology they bear. Each zealot is trained for decades in hand-to-hand combat, tactics, pain tolerance and martial discipline. Zealots are taught to hate their enemies with a white hot passion and to hunt them down without mercy.
All protoss have some psionic power. Zealots focus their powers exclusively on the pursuit of war. Focus crystals in their heavy forearm units enable zealots to channel their strength of will into blades of pure psionic energy - their primary melee weapons. Using a limited form of precognition, zealots can even predict enemy movements, striking with deadly accuracy and dodging attacks by inches.

Some zealots have even developed the ability to turn their body into pure energy for a few microseconds. This allows them to move at lightning-fast speeds and strike suddenly against an enemy that thinks they are out of range.

Feats
A picture is worth a thousand words, and I happen to have quite a few pictures to present. These scans have all been scanned by me with my ghetto ass scanner. They come from the recently released Manga, Starcraft: Frontline, Volume 1. Enjoy.

With one leap, Khastiana jumps twenty feet through the air, doing a flip in the process, and lands perfectly. A good showing of agility and maneuverability.

A glimpse of a Templar�s precognition. Similar to how a Sharingan works, a Templar can, with the aid of his/her psionic abilities, foresee the movement of an enemy moments before it happens. Also another showing of agility, as Khastiana was laying flat on her back in one frame, but managed to perform a backflip and land perfectly immediately afterwards.

Khastiana effortlessly dispatches some Zerglings, and displays some more of that handy Templar Precognition, dodging an attack from behind.

The shielding created by a Templar�s psionic abilities is not one to be taken lightly. In-universe it�s been scene deflecting the needle spines of a Hydralisk and ammo from a Spiker rifle. Both these spines and these bullets have been stated on-panel to move at hyper-sonic speeds.

In-Game, the shields of a Zealot can tank multiple hits from a tank. But, in my opinion, that�s just gameplay mechanics, as one unit in gameplay represents a squad in-universe.

In addition to powerful shielding and armor, a bare Zealot can withstand some heavy punishment of its own. After willingly deactivating her shields, Khastiana is shot at point blank range by a marine�s spiker pistol in the chest. Khastiana shrugs off the wound and keeps on fighting. She in fact, does not even die from her wound.

With a mere gesture, Khastiana mind-****s a Marine with her psionic abilities. Granted, in this instance she�s messing with his brainwashing, and not trying to kill him. But within the novels many a soldier has been completely mind-wiped by a pissed off Templar.
