Respect what is perhaps the greatest monster in Resident Evil ever!
The Nemesis is a B.O.W. (Biological Weapon) created by the European Branch of the Umbrella Corporation. It's intelligence was increased without it compromising the Tyrant's strength and power. This was achieved when the NE-T Virus (a virus that can retain the intelligence of the host even through extreme mutations and injuries) was discovered.
During the Raccoon City Outbreak, Umbrella dispatched the Nemesis to destroy all remaining S.T.A.R.S. members because they have been a nuisance to Umbrella. Nemesis has killed Brad Vickers, his first victim, by extending a tendril through his skull and all of this was witnessed by Jill Valentine. The Tyrant then went after her but she managed to escape Nemesis multiple times. Valentine and Carlos repair a trolley car and head to the city center but were already followed by Nemesis. He breaks into the trolley car and attempts to go after Jill but Mikhail, an Umbrella mercenary, gave Jill and Carlos enough time to escape before he suicidingly blew up a grenade which destroyed the car and sent Nemesis rolling out of the car, covered in flames. At the Clock Tower, before Jill was saved by the rescue chopper, it got shot down by Nemesis, wielding a rocket launcher. Jill gets down to the crash site and encounters the Nemesis. It attempts to hit her with punches but she dodges them and he then penetrates her left shoulder with one of his tendrils, which infects her with T-Virus. She defeats Nemesis and due to being injured, it walks away in the flames. Carlos finds Jill and tries to find a cure for her and while doing that, the Nemesis beats his way through a brick wall and attacks Carlos but makes a beeline to Jill and after getting cured, they lose the monster in the Raccoon City Park. Jill encounters the Nemesis again at the Dead Factory and managed to push him into a tank full of acid and dumped into a dissolving pool.

Believing that the Nemesis was finally dead, she goes deeper into the factory. Nemesis crawls out of the dissolving pool and consumed the organic matter from a dead Tyrant, which triggers a mutation and turns him into a huge tentacled creature which can spew venom and is more resistant to damage. Jill managed to defeat him by firing the Rail Gun at him and finishing him off with a few rounds from her magnum. Through all this, Nemesis disintegrated.

Could've sworn someone made a thread for him a long time ago at one point, but couldn't find it when I tried. Then I decided to wait for you to make it eventually to save myself the trouble.

Looks like Nemmy did not like getting his ass kicked in Hulk's ending. He's making his debut in Ultimate MvC3 to even the score (and kill any S.T.A.R.S. members, Wesker included.)
