No, by Marvel standards, he's a mutate. A normal person whose DNA was mutated by an outside source, in this case, intense gamma radiation that should have killed him.

A mutant, is someone who is born with their DNA altered.

And yeah, I was also unaware of DNA's ability to produce feces.

Nope, you said he was a mutant, which by marvel standards is untrue.

Colossus, Wolverine, Psylocke, etc... = Mutants
Hulk, Abomination, Graviton, Leader, etc.... = Mutates

There is a difference.
