Considering there's no way to judge how big the AOD is, I don't think they should be allowed in the 3rd scenario. Actually, they shouldn't be allowed period, since it's totally unfair to the other side.
1. Um, can they get off of the planet and somehow go at FTL travel to actually invade the millions of worlds that SW contains?
2. Who's to say that the AoD are in the ground battle? They are very rare and have only helped out once. In the canon books, they don't even fight!
