Silver Surfer: Fantastic Four V Phoenix: Xmen 3
Okay so we have the silver surfer from fantastic four rise of the silver surfer with his board vs Phoenix from x men 3 the last stand. Now we all know they messed up the phoenix with the movie to how she is in the comics. But I'm just basing it on that version and the same with the silver surfer as well. If you want to use a setting then maybe Lake Alkaline if thats how you spell it from xmen 3 or you can choose a city whatever up to you.

The same people think a lightsaber cannot cut through adamantium.

Exactly, metals in the STAR WARS universe. More advanced universe, more advanced metals. For all we know, adamantium is as soft as butter compared to them.

That's the point: We don't know. Marvel claims Adamantium is unbreakable and can cut through anything but itself; has upheld its end of the bargain. Star Wars claims lightsaber can cut through anything and hasn't upheld its end of the bargain. They're the strongest in both their respective universes, let's say. Why can't we just come to a conclusion that either won't cut the other for a threads sake? Same with Yautja metals.
Can't do that. Like I said, more advanced universes=more advanced and harder metals. Then again it might be the opposite.
I have no problem when someone debates whether or not a lightsaber can cut through adamantium, but when they pass it off as fact that a lightsaber cannot cut through adamantium? Bullshit.
Me, personally? I think that over many lightsaber strikes, adamantium will become superheated and will give way, bend or vulnerable to being cut through. That's just me though.

Superheated? Adamantium is indestructable. Even in the comics it is invulnerable to anything that isn't magic or matter manipulation. Heat, blunt force, etc. None of that shit works. I think the Hulk bent it once but that's bullshit in itself.
The lightsaber was inable to penetrate Darth Vader's armor(really speaks volumes for his suits durability).
Both are the epitome as far as durability and cutting power goes. Both universes claim it cuts through anything and that they cut through anything. Adamantium as far as EU goes is far more reliable and true to its reputation.
Just, out of respect for the different universes, accept it as a stalemate.
