It seems the apocalyptic Sentinel future was only delayed.
Seeing the signs, Professor X assembles the ultimate resistance team. He can recruit X-men and villains alike as they have a common enemy in the Sentinel threat.
- Any character from the X-men cinematic universe except Dark Phoenix, Apocalypse and Deadpool (he has no agency). Chris Bradley cannot control the Sentinels.
- Not only must the team survive, but have a greater goal of destroying all Sentinel production factories in the world.
Assemble your team of 7(excludes Professor X).
Explain what role each member plays.
Can they defeat the Sentinels in their life time?

These two are a must given their time travel abilities.
3. Sebastian Shaw
One of the most powerful characters in X-men. I don't see what the Sentinels can do to him, especially if he is team-amped.
4. Juggernaut
Another powerhouse that I believe can take anything from the Sentinels.
5. Blink
Extremely useful as seen in DoFP for coordinating teamwork. Also would be a great way to travel/escape (long distance) which the movie didn't show at all.
6. Quicksilver
He probably can't hurt the Sentinels, but he sure can most likely save anyone. Also he would be a good scout and distraction.
7. Magneto
Because.
I think if the play it smart and uses Blink to her full potential, these 7 alone could eventually stop the Sentinels.
Not going to lie, thought this was the name of the next X-Men movie
Anyhow,
-Wolverine (regeneration and skeleton)
-Shadowcat (intangiability, though a bit of a glass cannon)
-Quicksilver (super speed, though he's a massive glass cannon)
-Shaw (energy absorption)
-Azazel (teleportation)
-Juggernaut (strength, durability, regeneration and unstoppability)
-Multiple Man (gotta have your fodder, seriously though, he could serve as a distraction at least?)
-Rogue (could absorb the others powers if they happened to fall, nothing of value was lost anyways)
Still trying to think of two more
