The entire Persian army in 300 vs all of Sauron's forces in every movie combined (no Balrog or Dragon, tho).
Xerxes has the ring inside a magic box that prevents anyone from being influenced by it. He plans to toss the ring inside Mount Doom to destroy it once and for all.
Sauron is at the height of his powef and ressurects all the dead minions from all 6 movies (the Hobbit included) to stop Xerxes.
Nothing the Persians have can really put them down for good. Take away the Nazgul and Sauron's armored trolls and this is a pretty even fight, but with the Nazgul and armored trolls the Persians are sure to be defeated.
Oh, also, depending on how you look at it, Saruman is also a minion of Sauron.

Well Persians had their own elephants. Not as big but would slow down the Oliphants enough for their arrows to put a hurting on them, blotting the sky and all. Trolls would also die given enough arrows as well. Stupidly enough, Persian bows in the movie had insane range. Must've been at least a mile plus from the visible distance they shot it from.
Plus the Nazguls would have trouble vs those firebombs the Persians were tossing as the Nazguls seemed excessively flammable with their dry black cloaks and all.
Is it too late to exclude Saruman? Wanted to keep this army vs army, none of the crazy uniques (dragons/balrog/wizards). Nazguls are still ok tho as they were more than one of them and they were more the commander-class of Sauron's army.
Not saying Persians win. Just wanna keep the thread interesting.

The Nazgul do make this a stomp. They have nobody that can even put down the Witchking. What's worse, I don't even think arrows would hurt the fell beasts. We saw people trying to take them out with arrows and it lead to nothing. Besides, them screaming would totally momentarily incapacitate any Persian soldier in close proximity... which would allow the Sauron fodder to easily take them out. Spite thread
he didn't BEAT Multiple Nazul... They weren't killed or defeated. He temporarily held them off. Nothing more. The fell beasts and nazgul make this a stomp
Witch King and the fell beasts were killed by blades easily enough. Granted killing the WK burned the hands of the wielders. But he did die when he got stabbed in the face (and downright incapacitated when stabbed in the leg) by a woman. Yes, I know the book had context on why the WK was defated, but we're talkin movie canon here.
Him only being killed by a woman is ALSO a movie thing. He explicitly states in the movie... NO MAN CAN KILL ME... Just before she says.. I'm not man and kills him. That was very much apart of movie canon. Point is, they have no way to defeat him or the fell beasts. The war beasts and trolls just make it a stomp even more so.
A single arrow hurt the fell beast enough to distract it from grabbing Frodo in Two Towers. Def not arrow immune IMO. Two chops with a short sword was enough to decapitate it. Don't know why you would think the Persians with their million arrow rain would have nothing that can bring it down. The Witch King is another thing, sure, but the Fell Beasts are def killable. And while they might not figure out how to kill the WK for quite a bit, I don't think he'd be able to find the ring in the masses of Persians while having to effectively fight his way thru hundreds of thousands of fodder while getting stabbed and burned before the Persians are able to toss the ring into Mount Doom. He's def getting shot down off his Fell Beast the second he gets in range, tho. Especially since Persian bows seem to have ridic range in the movie.
War Beasts and trolls were also brought down by sufficient arrows and spears in the movie. It's stupid, I know, but that's movie canon.
The biggest thing the Persians have on their sides is the sheer quantity of arrows they were shown to be able to shoot. A single volley like they did in 300 would do serious damage to Sauron's ranks.
