So Esmerelda dies? Without plot to hold him back, Beast would've mauled Gaston. Like, he totally forgot he had super strength and claws and fangs when he fought him. Because even if he was injured in the process. A guy who can take down a wolf pack(again not killing them) should be able to kill a buff, but mostly normal guy with ease.

Quasi is definitely strong. But he's not a fighter, nor does he have any defense against Beast just ripping him to shreds.
