The fight takes place at the evacuated airport, just like in CA:CW, but with a few changes.
Additions to Team Iron Man:
Agent Daisy Johnson
Agent Melinda May
Agent Phil Coulson
Director Jeffrey Mace
Deathlok
Hulk
Standard gear for the SHIELD agents, and assume Mace has taken enough of his serum that he will retain his super strength and durability for the entire fight. Daisy has her latest gauntlets and Coulson has his latest robo arm.
Additions to Team Captain America:
Iron Fist
Daredevil
Jessica Jones
Luke Cage
Punisher
Thor
Standard gear for Defenders. Winter Soldier has all his gear from the highway fight in CA:TWS. Punisher has a minigun, sniper rifle, a pistol, spare ammo, and also brought enough explosives to level a large building.
Everyone is in character, but are also willing to kill if necessary this time around (assuming it is within their character to do so).
Who takes it?

Let's be honest here. In the CW film, IM's team would have torn team Cap apart if Vision was utilized properly. Now IM's team not only had Vision but also Hulk and Daisy Johnson whereas Team Cap's only powerhouse is Thor.... yeah it won't end well for Team Cap.
But if we're going the kill route only 1 person has massive aoe attacks. Thor can decimate that entire side of the airport before they can cross it leaving Hulk and Vision v. His entire team. Most of them are fodder and really don't matter but with Scarlet Witch on his side they can still pull it off.
Is that a somewhat unlikely scenario, maybe but it's in his powers and makes more sense for him to do that than everybody just run and brawl it out.
I think you are underestimating the difference people like fully-geared up Punisher and Winter Soldier could make. Granted, they probably aren't going to be more than a nuisance to the higher level guys on the other side, but they could definitely pose a serious threat to any of the SHIELD guys, Spiderman, or Black Widow. Those two alone could potentially take out a couple of the less powerful people on Team Iron Man to give Team Cap a numbers advantage. Also, like I mentioned, the teams are going at it a bit harder than they did in the movie, so things like Scarlet Witch's TP, Hawkeye's acid/metal eating arrows etc. are all on the table as well.

How would he do what? Literally every single movie he has been in he has done either a massive lightning attack or ground pound that would obliterate everybody except vision and Hulk. It's not only well within his power but in character for him to do so.
Lmao, show me feats of anyone other than Tony withstanding the kind of damage Thor can put out.
Spiderman can't Dodge an aoe. Black Panther was brought down by Widows tazers. Thor would kill him.
Iron Patriot isn't even in this movie so not sure wtf you even brought him up for
Ant man and Scarlet Witch are on This team so....
Look, I'm not arguing that Thor can solo the opposing team, just that he solos everybody except Vision, Hulk, and probably Stark and War Machine in a single hit.
If the MK6 could take it the MK46 would definetly take it.
War Machine could also take it most likely.
Okay, Panther would be tased.
Spidy would dodge it.
Scarlet could counter it.
Also remember that the Thor has to charge the hammer before striking. This would take time, and would make it obvious for Iron Man's team of Thor's intentions. So, it could be debatable that the team would counter Thor's attack.
A fully geared Punisher, WS and Hawkeye going all out would be easily cancelled out by fully geared IM, Warmachine and Deathlok going all out. The difference being that IM, WM and (maybe) Deathlok can tank those barage of ammo whereas Punisher, WS and Hawkeye won't survive any direct shots.
So while Punisher, WS and Hawkeye can easily kill every squishy human member on Team IM, just remember that team Cap has MORE squishy humans including Cap, and that the IM team has far more firepower.

The biggest problem here is that THor's AOE's are... well, AOE's. Meaning there's a good chance he'll hit the rest of his team too if he's not careful. I mean, it's a viable tactic, but he'll still have trouble tagging the flyers on team IM.
