ares seemed like he used zeus lighting against WW.(i said this knowing that ares is not a "god" known to use lighting and that he had killed all the gods INCLUDING zeus, thereby gaining their powers)
That should be enough to shatter that armour.

Umm it was never said that Ares took powers from other gods, just that he killed them. Your's is a ridiculous presumption
And Iron Man's previous armor has taken Thor's lightning, and plus this suit is nanite based, so the chances are that a lightning bolt will just power it up, and the damage done will be regenerated

Can't Ares manipulate things like metal? He should just use the suit to crush Tony. Lightning doesn't even need to enter into it.
