Power Gem Thanos vs Superman armwrestling Part 2! (Read Stips)
This is Superman and PG Thanos in an armwrestling competition again.
But this time, they are assumed to be braced before the start of the fight. Thanos has the Power gem (w/c Superman is NOT allowed to disrupt/take away/whatever that would compromise its use) AND can fully convert the energies of the power gem into strength/force/whatever he needs to win the match.
Of course, they cannot attack each other or disrupt each other. This is PURE strength and power.
Superman is allowed ALL his movie “feats”. No TV shows or animation, however. Plain movies. Meaning, even IF the “feats” are canon to the movie version, still not allowed.
Heavyweight boxer vs Featherweight. Thought it was complete bs.
But then, the heavyweight also KO'd a bear, so there's that.

It’s not about strength either, which everyone prior to me was waxing poetic on (so strong...ah, aaaah, AAAAH-smoke cigarette).
If you can go on about strength I can admire thick meaty sausage fingers.
Arm wrestling is about leverage, and Thanos has that, as well as the advantages of a larger hand and thicker wrist.
Arm wrestling's also about technique but we’ll call that even, as neither movie character has any actual feats in that.
Anyway, imma go smoke a cigarette now, i’ve Said all I needed to; enjoy your thread!
It most definitely is about strength, but a very specific kind of strength. Arm wrestlers have crazy strong forearms, biceps, and shoulders. These dudes can casually do pull ups with one arm for sets of 10 like nothing.
Well Thanos did use the Power Gem to destroy a moon. And the Celestial blew up a planet. So theoretically if he puts that all into strength it would be pretty impressive.
But moving it shouldn't even be possible without some way to equalize the force over the body. Superman literally should have punched clean through the planet since he's roughly 6 feet and focusing all his power on the less than foot wide span of his two hands when the Earth is has a radius of nearly 4,000 miles and has a surface area of almost 2 million miles square.
But the ease at which Thanos and the Celestial both destroyed their respective planetoids cant be understated either. Each instance took a split second and at least the Celestials planet was comparable if not larger than earth.
Well, let's not argue comic book physics. When you get down to it a 240lbs man would never be able to lift planes or even cars like Superman does. The levers don't allow it.
Didn't he only devastate the surface of the moon though?
Thanos destroyed the entire moon, then used the space stone to throw the chunks at Tony. ESPN scored the planet to kill everything alive but he should have been able to destroy the planet if he felt like it.
