I haven't watched the latest season of Umbrella academy but here's my initial thoughts:
Klaus is useless here
Diego is cool but he's outclassed in this fight
Luther can dish out some punishment but he's not as good a scrapper as Beast or Wolverine.
So the Umbrella's chances hinge pretty much on Viktor/Vanya, Five and Allison. Vanya IIRC is a world breaker but she needs time to get to that level.
Allison is pretty powerful but also isn't as quick on the trigger.
Five is the fastest guy on the field and he'll be a pain to take out, but he has limited offensive oomph.
TL;DR: I think Umbrella Academy have enough powers to win this but I'm not convinced they work as well together or are fast enough on the draw to take on the X-men (especially if it's the older batch).
Not to mention, Storm can unleash some serious destruction if she stops holding back. Likewise for Cyclops. Beast and Wolverine can cover for them. Rogue just needs to touch them.
Unless these guys are sone serious top tiers winning is unlikely.

Allison can pretty much make the X-Men fight each other, provided they can hear her. If Allison gets ahold of one of the more powerful X-men, it can turn the tide.
Problem is she's very squishy. One hit from the more powerful X-Men and she's out. Which is why I said the X-Men wins this majority of the time, but there is a chance for the Academy. I mean, just to play devil's advocate here, what happens if Allison says something like, "I heard a rumor that the X-men were all trying to kill each other".
And then there's Vanya. If she's allowed to get to her full power then she can most likely solo the X-Men. But she isn't a fighter and she's even squishier than Allison.

I don't recall Jean being that powerful in the previous movies. Prof X could do it but not Jean. Unless we're saying she's fullblown Phoenix mode here.
If we're talking regular Jean, Allison's mind control is far stronger and far faster. Jean would be better off just using TK to throw people around.
I looked a little further and Jean is hard to guage as she has the Phoenix force for the majority of her showings and we can't base this off of that. The only example I have is Jean shutting down her mother in the car when she was a child.
Also Allison does not need to touch anybody when she whispers. Yeah, she's a problem.
I know we're eleven posts in, but to clarify, here are the X-Men live-action versions:
Wolverine (composite from all live-action film versions from X-Men 1 through Deadpool and Wolverine)
Cyclops (composite from all live-action film versions: James Marsden, Tim Pocock, and Tye Sheridan)
Beast (composite Kelsey Grammar and Nicholas Hoult)
Storm (composite Halle Berry and Alexandra Shipp, but no Apocalypse amp)
Jean Grey (no Phoenix Force, just composite Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner)
Rogue (Anna Paquin)
There is a very specific version of them shown in either season 2 or 3 where they are shown fighting Russian soldiers. That seemed to be the most powerful and skilled iteration of them.
This version of Klaus or Allison solo, one can instantly raise an army of the undead, the other is a low tier reality warper capable of exploding heads with a word.
I think the X Men stomp any other version of them shown though.
