The guy with the red shirt
I hope this is allowed, this thread is about the mythos of trek and the conventions the most obvious one is in the original series, in that any member of the enterprise who went to a planet with kirk AND was wearing a red shirt would always die, i am surprised they kept finding replacements, you really would need life insurance there...but anyway any other key parts of trek that you enjoyed or liked or just found plain stupid/weird post them here.

Troi rarely wore a uniform in TNG.
Every female yeoman had a mini skirt and was hot in TOS.

I still always felt like she was way over dressed.

I always found Wesley Crusher's original gray uniform exceedingly "ambiguous".
I also found that the introduction of The Traveller, Wesley's "mentor", and his orgasmic warp field experience, didn't help matters in any way...

I was always curious about the tech that was left on some missions, like the one planet that adopted a gangster style society, and scotty leaves a phaser(or comunicator) on the planet, i was always waitning for the enterprise to have to go back
