SSJ3 Goku (Start of Super) vs Mystic Gohan (Buu Saga)
Who wins?

DBS started pretty much right after the Buu Saga, right? Or there was some time gap of any siginificance?
Gohan went Mystic and got b!tched with utter ease in the BoG retelling, so... either he got weaker... or Goku got stronger... or Gohan, even at his absolute best, was really nothing to write home about in the first place
Goku probably gonna lose here, he had some extra training to his ssj3 form, but Gohan still to much for him. Gohan in BOG was confirmed not to have access to his mystic form until way later on with Piccolo training in Super.
In BotG, both the movie and Super arc version, it looked like he was using his Mystic form power. However, he no doubt lost it by RoF, much as some tried to deny it.
Looking at official Dragon Ball Timeline, Super is four years after Majin Buu Saga. Revival of F is only one year after BoG.
Gohan in DBS was never on a level of his Mystic Self. After training with Piccolo, it was first time in years he came on that level (and currently even above it).

Those warp attacks are a great equalizer. Gohan would need to be so far above Goku that he could tank his best Kamehameha point blank.

Goku, hell SSJ Vegeta in his Rage mode probably slaps him to death. Piccolo pretty much told us that Gohan was a terrible fighter but just had alot of power which makes sense as he was born with incredible power and has had alot of haxx power ups (potential unleash, SSJ2 asspull, Mystic form not to mention his child forms rage mode and Oozaru forms. )
As we saw against Perfect Cell, off guard attacks are supreme. And unlike Cell, Gohan won't have the benefit regen. And as we saw with the recent Gohan vs Piccolo battle, getting Gohan off his guard is like shooting fish in a barrel.

The vastly inferior Vegeta was able to harm Cell with a Final Flash. Cell never needed to be the most durable, when he had regen also. I mean look at Buu, the worst durability in the series. It would be more like ssj Goku vs Broli. Gohan would tank that blast like nothing. Gohan, until Super, never lost because he wasn't able to tank the attacks. Gohan lost because he didn't finish his opponent off right away. It's the exact opposite of Goku, who wins because his opponent doesn't finish him off right away.
Oh wait, nope Goku wins.

Here, we see for ourselves what a random ki blast from Piccolo can do to an off guard Mystic Gohan. If Piccolo can do that with a random ki blast, just imagine what a fully charged up super kamehameha from SSJ3 Goku could do (not that it's necessary to win here in light of the above clip). Not to mention that if it's a fight to the death, just trade out the kamehameha with a destructo disc and Goku has this in the bag.
Durability in DB seems to be tied around active concentration. When your guard is up, attacks that could destroy a planet won't even scratch your chin (see SSJ Goku vs Frieza). When your guard is down, you can be mortally wounded by a random ass lazer gun (see SSJB Goku vs Golden Frieza circa ROF arc). When Goku fought Majin Vegeta, it was a stalemate. However, the minute Goku let his guard down, Vegeta effortlessly KO'd him in one blow. Hell, this series has even gone to truly asinine lengths with this concept (ordinary machine gun bullets scratching current Goku's arm and piercing current Krillin's).
