What if Yamcha as of the Saiyan Saga entered the Hidden Leaf Villiage as an instructor?
How would the weakest member of the Z crew affect the major events? If, at all?
If he proves too weak, change it to Super era Krillin.

Yamcha is weak compared to other DBS characters, but the truth is, he is very powerful being. Not to mention his outstanding durability in Episode 70 . He wins this.
Unless you downplay the entire Genjutsu and especially Fūinjutsu side of Naruto, it would be insanely hard for anyone who isn’t just a bloodlusted monster to defeat the entire Leaf village regardless of power.
Short of some sort of lifting strength = Genjutsu defense fallacy Yamcha would have a hard time beating just Sasuke who could shunt him into space the second their eyes meet.
First you would have to know that, and more importantly that you fell under a Genjutsu which can be incredibly subtle to the point most people who train their entire life for this kinda combat still can have difficulty noticing it.
I mean any Genjutsu user could literally just turn themselves invisible and create an illusory clone for Yamcha to fight, or even something like making Yamcha think he has already won the fight while they use any sort of Jutsu they want after that.
I mean the Narutoverse on the whole are WAY WAY WAY smarter fighters than almost anyone in DBverse. Not to mention DBverse have the unfortunate habit of letting people show their techniques off which with the amount of just instant death moves in Naruto it is a stretch to say anyone outside of like the absolute top tier can solo the universe.
Like what is Yamcha gonna do if he gets poisoned and then teleported to the other side of the planet? Like unless you want to play Flash games, Yamcha isn’t gonna pull a Pain and just start blasting the villages from low Orbit.
