Battle Begins
At the very start of the battle, the entire area around us is already covered in Black Alice's magical darkness [1]. The other team should be momentarily distracted because of this small fact. In the second that distraction gives them Black Alice, using nightshades powers, creates a wall instantly starting in front of my team (in case of the light speed attack) that surrounds the other team in a large sphere and tightens around the other team, also in the darkness, instantly [2]. Nightshade seems to have an innate knowledge of where people are (due to her teleportation powers) and that will be transferred to Black Alice. [3]. Also with her Superman vision and reaction speed (plus her own special night vision) she can detect the other team to do this in a fraction of a second no matter WHERE they might be. The others on the team will be able to tell where they through telepathy with Black Alice and can see through her eyes with her special magical nightvision.
The sphere that we surrounded you in, that you will not be able to tell is around you since it is made of the same dark magic that was engulfing you in the first place, is really a teleportation sphere.
What does that mean exactly? Well we all know that nightshades teleporting powers are powerful, come easily to her, and she can precisely teleport people wherever she wants, including from earth to the sun! [4]. Basically what we are doing is creating a sphere using her teleporting powers so that if you cross one side of it you come out the other still inside said sphere. Think of the game Snake 2 where you cross the boundaries and come out the opposite direction. Flying up will only cause you to come out of the ground, going left will have you coming out the right, I think you get the idea.
However in the darkness you will not be able to tell the difference from where the darkness ends and the teleportation sphere begins, since in reality there IS no difference. Say superman flies at light speed to try and find us, and suddenly ends up hitting the team from the other side. Or say that Green Lantern sends a emerald blast everywhere and hitting his own teammates ala hitting all the Androids [5]. The confusion that would be caused because of this will be great, and you really will not have any idea what is going on. The part that I like best is that no matter how much "physical" pressure you try and pour on, you cannot "push" against anything.
The confusion is added in bounds when the Keeper, with his total command of energy via the quantum bands and power cosmic down to the subatomic scale, messes with your team's concentration by disrupting the electromagnetic impulses in your teams nervous systems. This is akin to what Blue Superman once did to Kyle Rayner, thus not allowing him to concentrate enough to create any pretty green images [6]. Hal would be in the same predicament and the other two members on your team would be placed off balance. Hell, Vulcan probably will not be able to do much either in terms of energy. However, to totally and positively ensure the fact that your energy powers will be of no consequence to us, we will have Keeper siphon all energy from any energy type from the darkness. Hal's ring has been drained before[7], Vulcan is of no threat, and we have THE best energy manipulator in the tourney. Lastly, he also happens to have the power cosmic. We all know that he can do a great deal of things just with the power cosmic. So to add to messing with the electromagnetic impulses, and creating a quantum energy siphoning construct, he will transmute all the oxygen inside the sphere into VX the deadliest nerve agent on earth[8]. Contact on the skin by just a drop can be lethal, and this will be in vapor form, which is considered even more lethal. Since your shields will have been drained, or not even produced thanks to Keeper messing with you, you will breath in the vapor.
The confusion is only intensified when hardened dark magic, so hard that it actually knocked Eclipso and Spectre for a second [9] is randomly punching you (and since it is in the darkness, and made of the darkness you cannot predict when and where it will hit). Along with the dark magic punches we will be teleporting the surfboards that Keeper made with the quantum atom slicing spikes at light speed into the sphere. Once there they can continue flying at light speed and they will continue to hit you over and over again. To make it clear how much these things will hurt let me explain:
You know how an object's hits with more force when moving at faster speed (etc. baseball hits a LOT harder when it is thrown fast and so on). Well, lets say our boards (at the original size) weigh about the same amount as Silver Surfer. They will be moving at light speed. Now, with how much force they hit? Well, everybody knows meteorites. A meteorite weighing 12 kg and moving with the speed of 20,000 km/h, would hit with the force of about 16 kilotons, same as the bomb that hit Hiroshima.
Now, our boards mass will be increased by Keeper, from the original mass (about 90 kg) to about 10 times more (one ton) If it would move with the same speed as the 12 kg meteorite, it would hit with about 83 times more force; 1300 kilotons, or 1.3 megatons. This isn’t that much on nuclear terms, for example the most powerful nuclear weapon ever detonated, the Russian Tsar Bomba has 50 megaton yield.
An object moving at:
Speed of light (299,792,458 meters per second)
And weighing:
1000 kg
Hits with the kinetic energy of:
44,937,758,936,840,880,000 joules.
OR 10 gigatons.
Okay, how much is 10 gigatons? It will be the kinetic energy equivalent to:
671273 Hiroshima bombs.
214 Tsar Bombas.
With the atom splicing spikes, that is more then enough to puncture/chop/maim/kill ANYTHING.
Something that should be interesting to note is that all this time, since the very beginning Superman became useless to the other team. Why you ask? Because nightshade can drain Superman of his solar energy VERY quickly [10]. With the darkness engulfing the entire arena, and him being stuck in a teleporting sphere that just sends you back inside the same sphere, he is at the time basically just Clark Kent in a Superman costume. Our own Supermen would be OK with quantum shields in place to protect from this.
DC will explain what Superman has been doing this whole time, and it will add to the craziness you will be experiencing.
While all this took some time to explain, the whole process should take no more than a few seconds with teamwork, starting with the darkness and teleportation sphere, disrupting the electromagnetic impulses in your team's nervous systems, siphoning any and all energy, transmuting the air into VX, the "diamond" hard punches in the dark, the boards speeding at light speed all over the place, the instinctive and ineffective retaliation from the other team that will in reality just hurt them, and the fact that Superman has been completely drained of solar energy. All of this can be visualized here [11]
Will all these factors in place, we can completely dominate your team without much effort. The Trinity of Power just kicked ass

DarkCrawler’s Post #1. Debating for the characters All-Star Superman and The Keeper
This post is mostly explaining how All-Star Superman will be useable in the match against Pr and Rewmac, and his general power level. I will compare his capabilities against the other team’s characters, to show that his powers enable him to face any of the three characters from the opposing team and win.
All-Star Superman’s powers.
Like seen from our prep posts, All-Star Superman’s power level has been drastically increased.
All-Star Superman’s Strength, Durability and Speed.
All-Star Superman now has Durok the Demolisher’s strength combined with his own. This makes him possibly the physically strongest character in the match, maybe in the tournament. All-Star Superman alone is strong enough to push mass equal to three times our moon with one hand. Durok the Demolisher, on the other hand, had strength somewhat superior to Thor (Thor even stated that it was superior one or two times), and was even able to break Silver Surfer’s board through pure strength alone [1]. Having Durok’s powers at least doubles All-Star Superman’s strength.
Durok’s durability, on the other hand wasn’t as impressive as his monstrous strength, but it will still accompany the durability of All-Star Superman nicely, practically doubling it too.
All Star Superman’s speed isn’t enhanced much by the Durok buff (Although Durok was fast enough to surprise Silver Surfer and Thor [2]), but his flight speed and reaction speed are already among the fastest in the Tournament, so it doesn’t matter. His speeds are easily enough to compete with anyone in the tournament and match.
Energy Powers.
All-Star Superman has heat vision and freeze breath. However, his Durok powers give him even more powerful energy blasts. Durok was able to stun Silver Surfer with only few blasts (nearly knock him out) and rippled through ground and tanks with wave of his hands by using them[3]. In terms of pure destructive power blasts, All-Star Superman has now extremely powerful energy powers. This, with his heat vision, enables him to do something he wasn’t able to do before – match with Vulcan and Hal Jordan in pure blast-to-blast power.
Like seen on All-Star Superman #1, he also can extend his bio-field to form force fields as extension of his aura that are as durable as his own durability [4], but he won't really need that power here.
Psionic powers.
After the telepathy buff he gained from Black Alice/Loki combined with all the telepathic powers of Keeper, All-Star Superman now has the psionic powers of Silver Surfer – increased thousandfold. He also has all the experience using psionic powers - Keeper happens to be hundreds of years old, so it is a lot.
First of all, he has telepathic powers. He is able to read minds, communicate with telepathy, manipulate minds on very fine level like removing/adding single thoughts, attacking with psionic bolts or overloading minds (by sending all his experiences into one's mind), and scan and locate stuff by using it[5]. As both his mind and telepathy work on faster-then-light speeds, every telepathic attack he does will happen as fast as possible on this tourney (light speed). More importantly, he, like every other member in our team, can shield his presence, so any amount of telepathy can't really track us.
He also has telekinesis, which enables him to lift billions of tons of matter with ease.
Lastly, he has extremely versatile teleporting, which combined his super speed reactions, enables him to avoid/teleport away nearly any attack possible. Basically, All-Star Superman now has the powers of Blink/Spartan with Void (his teleporting powers). [6]
As you can see; we have turned him from a simple Superman archetype to EXTREMELY versatile and powerful character, able to cope with every possible situation.
What All-Star Superman will do in this tourney.
As Black Alice and Keeper are taking care of most stuff, All-Star Superman acts as a support member. Through his teleporting, he is able to teleport his energy attacks right inside the spheres, hitting the other team with even more damage. Through the mind link with Black Alice, he knows exactly where the opposing team is inside the sphere. He can use his telekinesis to throw them around to make it harder to focus on dodging, and use his telepathy (psionic bolts etc.) to confuse them even more.
He will also telepathically make Superman believe that there is kryptonite around him [7], to make him weaker.
That is within the sphere scenario. However, even if he was in direct match up with the characters, he would still be able to defeat basically them. Next section will elaborate on that.
All-Star Superman VS Superman
After All-Star Superman has gained the powers of Durok the Demolisher, he is easily equal to Pr/Rewmac’s Superman in strength and durability. Like stated before, all characters are put into pre-determined speed level, so speed doesn’t matter. In fact, All-Star Superman pretty much is equal to normal supers (even the sun-dipped one) in everything…but he has extra powers too. And these extra powers would give him the win.
First of all, All-Star Superman has telepathy and telekinesis. With telepathy, he could read the thoughts of his opponent (I did not notice any sort of telepathic shielding in their plan), and anticipate his moves. Besides this, he could use his telepathy to attack Superman’s mind while he is fighting him, confusing him even more, and making it impossible to concentrate on the fight. With telekinesis, he could constantly throw him off-balance, and make his own punches stronger with it. All-Star Superman also has teleport. Every single attack Superman attempted would be avoided easily.
Durok buff also gave All-Star Superman power blasts. As this power stems from Norn magic, they are MAGICAL blasts. Superman’s weakness. I don’t need to say how quickly Superman would be taken down by these.
All in all, While our characters are matched in conventional Superman abilities, All-Star’s extra ones give him a win over the normal Superman.
All-Star Superman VS Hal Jordan
What Hal lacks is speed. His ring would obviously be on auto-fire, but All-Star Superman, using his teleportation abilities and speed would be able to avoid him while moving at such speed that Hal’s human reactions could not track him. In the same time, All-Star Superman would be able to attack his shields with his punches or blasts. Hal is good, but not good enough. He would be taken down eventually. Either through telepathy/telekinesis, or sheer physical attack force.
All-Star Superman VS Vulcan
Vulcan is a no brainer. He is human with powerful energy controlling abilities, but still a human. All-Star Superman is faster, more experienced and has energy blasts too. He could either pummel him to death (Gladiator Style) or blast him. I see no way how Vulcan would be able to defeat All-Star Superman.
As my last words I will take down some faulty points in our opponents’ posts.
Shields won’t be able to hold us because every member in our team has teleportation.
Keeper is able to absorb every energy signature sent from your team – in fact, this is what we had him do in our battle plan. All the Red-Sun radiation would be absorbed. All-Star Superman(s) also could just teleport out of the way.
Our future posts will elaborate things more, but our team is simply stronger power wise, and has fool-proof strategy to take out their team. In fact, every member of our team can defeat every member of the opposing team in direct fight – something that will be elaborated more too.
Slight bit of hypocrisy in the post that follows, but nonetheless;
Guys, take it to the discussion thread. This is the official match, and it should be reserved for the posts made by the competitors and, later, the judging.
Comments like these should be made in the Tourney Discussion thread.
Note, that I have no real authority as far as the tourney goes, and that I am, myself, cluttering up this post with this comment....however, my point remains.
No. Just no. It has never ONCE been stated that her powers are completely random. She even knew everyone she got powers from (mostly so far) as can be shown through her doodles[1]. Assumptions can be made to that end in the very beginning because she did not know how to USE her powers. However, after her very first introduction she was said to be trained by Dr. Fate off panel[2]. Also in her very first appearance she did in fact know what powers she wanted to have, when she very clearly said that she was saying SHAZAM and then suddenly became Black Adam like. [3]. Later instances show her having more control of her powers
She can also concentrate to get someones powers if she wants them {the use of this scan is to show that she can pinpoint people if she wants, however Spectre made defenses against her once she stole his powers the first time}[4]
Someone asked me how well she can use the powers she has gained? Well she gets all the powers and how to use those powers. She was creating green lantern constructs with Sentinels powers, she spoke backwards and casting spells with Zatanna's powers, and she was using ankhs when she was Dr. Fate. She was using all of Spectre's powers, and the sudden influx of knowing everyones sin's did not affect her in the least. Being that she gained knowledge and experience from Superman and the Keeper, from the last match on both physical powers and energy type powers, her experience with either has gone through the roof!
Backing up to the actual battle, lets go over a few things shall we:
You created a shield, however we created a teleportation sphere around your team so your shield {auto fire} does nothing but hurt yourself before your powers stop working. You have been placed in a tactical hole from which you cannot get out of. We outsmarted your team, and can be proceed to kick your teams collective ass. As you can see from our writeup, you will not be able to get out of such a predicament because none of your powers will be working after that point {all because of Keeper's doing}
Black Alice:
With her teleportation sphere in place, the "diamond" hard punches will be massacring your team, while three surfboards hitting with 10 gigatons of force with atom slicing spikes chop your team into little bits of dog food. You will have no exit from which to get out of, you will be unexpectedly hit from all sides, which can mostly likely cause your team to bump into each other as they get creamed into different areas, and her powers also allow her to suck Superman's solar energy almost instantly.
Keeper:
The Keeper has done three things for us in this battle, all quite simple for him to do. He starts off by disrupting all the electromagnetic impulses in your nervous system. You will not be able to concentrate in any way, shape, or form while you are being beaten like a red-headed step child. Blue Superman did something like this to Kyle and he was not able to create anything through the use of his ring.
Keeper has siphoned any and all energy coming from your team. Seeing as the QB bands are the most proficient energy absorbers in the comic book world this equates to you having 0% of energy use. What does this imply for your team specifically? It means your red sun generator idea will not work because any and all energy gets absorbed by the Quantum Bands. It also means your ring's energy will be drained of its power as it has been drained before by external sources. None of your energy attacks will be working and if they do by some very miraculous way, they do nothing but hurt your own team seeing as you are trapped in our sphere of teleportation.
Keeper has also changed the oxygen into VX which is the earth's deadliest nerve agent. Hal and Vulcan would be dead just by breathing it in, and seeing as:
A) They cannot concentrate to produce full fledged shields
B) All energy has been drained by the QB
and C) The shields have been shredded by the 10 gigatons of force and atom slicing spikes our boards have.
Then logically they will have no shields to protect them from the Earth's deadliest nerve agent.
No direct contact has been established by our team and already you done for. You cannot move unless we allow it, you cannot attack because we will not allow it, and you are defeated because we decreed it.
With all your shields down as an effect of a mixture of non concentration, the fact that they got spliced open, or because the energy got siphoned, it matters not because you will be dead. The random punches in the darkness, the 10 gigaton force surfboards with atom slicing spikes, Superman being solar energy drained and Hal and Vulcan breathing earth's deadliest nerve agent = dead team. All three members of your team will be dead, with no way of getting out of the sphere that surrounds you.
Seeing as we now have an understanding of what will be happening in the actual battle, we can now delve into the fact that Black Alice and Keeper can take anyone on your team one on one {However this is just informational, the actual battle has already been described above}
Black Alice
Black Alice vs Vulcan
Physically Black Alice is like AS Superman, and has the energy wielding abilities of Keeper. We all know what Gladiator did to Vulcan so he would be of no consequence.
Black Alice vs Superman
Magic + Superman level stats = Dead Superman. No really. With her nightshade powers, she can siphon all his solar energy reserves, and with her Quantum amour her durability has doubled. She can also take it to him mentally with the Surfers telepathy being upgraded 1000 times greater than normal. With tons of experience on her side {thanks to our telepathy mix last match}, she can take Superman on and win.
Black Alice vs Hal
Seems to be the hardest match for Black Alice, but we all know that Superman level characters can always break their shields. Plus GLs are not known for matching well against magical characters, and her telepathy can wreak havok on a GL unprepared for it. She can also teleport on a dime, so the speed factor goes to her. Hal goes down
The Keeper
Keeper vs Vulcan
In terms of energy control Keeper>>>>Vulcan. In physical terms Keeper still>>>Vulcan. Nothing Vulcan can do can match what Keeper can do. Keeper does it better, faster, more powerfully, and just plain cooler. Keeper can knock his lights out.
Keeper vs Superman
Silver Surfer by himself should be a match for Superman but with the Quantum Bands, Superman level stats, and his telepathy increased a thousand fold Superman is no match for him in any way shape or form. Superman gets beaten like a red-headed step child.
Keeper vs Hal
With Silver Surfer being almost a match for Hal on his own, we can factor in all his upgrades, and it should almost be unanimous that Keeper will win everytime, anytime. He can absorb all of Hal's energy, physically mess with him, telepathically mess with him, and use the power cosmic in a variety of ways. Speed advantage most deffinatly goes to Keeper, and Hal will be hard pressed to stop any of his attacks.
