So with wonder woman rendered powerless within the infinity vortex, thor will kill her by blasting her with a giant lightning bolt. It is a common misconception that thor needs his hammer to summon lightning. He controls all the elements as he states here in this scan.

Then he'll beat wonder woman while she is powerless within the infinity vortex is to have Thor beat her continuously. Remember she will be without her super durability so she will be vulnerable. But let me just show you how strong Thor is.

There’s no argument to be had here, when almost any level of high end speed is introduced to the table, Thor struggles. Sure, most of those opponents didn’t take him down, but none of those opponents, except for Gladiator, have a similar level of speed to Wonder Woman.
You’re probably thinking, yeah, Thor got blitzed 10 times by 10 different characters, but he seemed to take it fairly well right?

Well sure, but none of them are bringing to the table what Wonder Woman is. You might be familiar with Wonder Woman’s atom cutting sword:

Superman felt the need to dodge it, and he was clearly very observant because it then goes on to prove it can cut atoms:

There is no defense against this. Not from Thor’s skin anyway.
And if you look at all those fights I posted, every single opponent landed on Thor or evaded him in some way that compromised him. There’s no reason AT ALL to suggest that Diana could not do the same once she gets up close and personal. Except she has an atom cutting blade at her disposal, so her strikes will prove deadly.
Diana’s blades straight up impaled the strongest toughest version of Doomsday to date:

It will go right through Thor, or cut off any limbs I’d like, as Thor has demonstrated to have fairly poor piercing durability:

The sheer speed necessary for Diana to calculate where they’ll hit, and then block both of them with her bracers is leagues above speed expected from Thor.
Speed is key here, it allows fighters of comparable level to make others look like fools:

And there is ZERO reason that Diana cannot shove a sword through Thor’s head and chop off his arms and legs before he can even properly react. Mjolnir, as fast as it is, needs to be wielded by Thor who is only so fast.
