Dr Strange is a beast, no doubt but Alan is no slouch either. One very distinct advantage Alan does have is in speed. He will certainly be the first to launch an attack

The fact is that without time manipulation which is against the tules Alan can perform several actions before strange makes a move.

If Strange even has the chance to recover from this onslaught and mount a counter it will do him little good.

The fact that Alan has reacted in a nanosecond and reacted to DC speedsters, combined with his shields and his ability to become intangible at will makes it very hard for Strange to put him down and finish the fight.

With his ability to react and intanginility he can simply allow any attack his shields cant hold to safely pass thru him.

Or he can Simply absorb the energy of the attack used against him. Just like he did when Ultra Humanite was suing the power of Thunderbolt.

I'm sure we can all agree Strange doesnt wield power greater than a 5th dimensional djinn. Hes done the same thing to Kyle Raynor and others.

It really didnt work well for Hector Hammond who has better mental chps than Strange.

Alan has the speed advantage to make many moves before Strange does.

He can unleash an onslaught Strange would struggle with.

He can take and deal with any counter Strange can produce
