The Piranha.

Piranha and King Kong have something in common. They've both been remade three times.

Piranha was release in 1978 as a parody to Spielberg's Jaws. The first remake was released 27 years later, which is followed by the 2010 remake. The '78 version was good, but the '95 version was crap.

The Piranha is a prehistoric species thought to have been extinct, but survived by cannibalism underneath Arizona's Lake Victoria. However, a freak earthquake releases the Piranha and all Hell breaks loose.

The first victim is an old fisherman (played by Richard Dreyfuss), and things progress on from there, leading to the mass feeding frenzy at the massive Spring Break party.

It's shit like this that makes me want to stay on dry land. But the movie is pretty fun to watch.

Trivia: Steven R. McQueen (who plays Jake Forrester, the eldest son of Sheriff Forrester), is the grandson of legendary actor Steve McQueen.

Porn stars Ashlynn Brooke, Riley Shy and Gianna Michaels appear in the movie...and die Piranha-related deaths. Gianna is the topless parasailer who gets half her legs eaten. Ashlynn is the girl who gets sliced in two by a steel cable. Riley gets eaten along with half of Jerry O'Connell.
