When on Radio 1, Simon Mayo had an item where listeners could request thier favourite top 3 records, one from the 80's, one from the 90's and one current record. Here's mine - tell me yours: -
80's - Going Underground by The Jam
90's - Sure shot by the Beastie Boys
Current - Last night by The Strokes
(Not sure if the last ones spelt correctly as it's brand spanking new and I haven't been out to buy it yet).
80`s Joshua Tree - U2 in comoetition with Notorius- Duran Duran
and Misplaced Childhood - Marillion.
I didnt find any good albums of the 90`s that I like
and for the current stage it must be Travis - Invisible Band .
Travis send me to sleep. Their first album is good though.
Mine would be -
80's - The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
90's- A Storm In Heaven by The Verve
90's- Definately Maybe by Oasis
When I said record, I meant singles - cus the DJ would then play the top 3 of the listener. My fault, but didn't anyone realise that all mine were actually singles and not albums?
