i agree that some of the ppl in this world can't except that some of the female roles are not being played out be women like women voting weren't aloud to vote until the 18th or 19th amendment

You realize how pissed we would get if they captured a woman and tortured her.... there are far more horrible things that the enemy can do to a women rather then a man.

But Raven, women have a much higher pain threshold smile

Talking on conscription however, I very strongly disapprove of it and it is abominable that it was still carried out as recently as the war in 'Nam, but given the fact that there was conscription, there is NO reason why women should have been exempt from it on basis of gender, there is NO difference in fighting skills soley because of difference in gender roles.

Well, first of all... Like shaber said, I think women really do have higher tolerence to pain... Anyways, if a woman for some reason WANTS to fight on the front line, of course they should be able to. They realize fully that they might be captured and are aware of what could happen to them if they are. Besides, it's not like women can't already be captured with the positions they are allowed to have in the military.

supply depots and transport aircraft are way farther then the front. We are talking hand to hand combat situations, taking an enemy which would more then likely rape or kill the women just because the sex she is on the spot... no quarter given...

As if there was less chance of that occuring with a male soldier roll eyes (sarcastic)

It is a very widely known fact that the female threshold for pain is higher as estagon stimulates the brain to release seratonin numbing the body to pain caused by physical injury. Obviously this falls off at middle age.

this job could be taken on by men as well.

I doubt any female souldier isn't aware of the chances of getting tortured and raped if captured. I dare say, a woman is far more aware of this possibility, than a man can be on her behalf. if she, in spite of this risk, still wants to fight I think this is admireable and sugests a strong believe in the the cause.
