What do you lot think about this poem!
The Light At The End Of The Tunnel
When you reach the end and pray for your soul
And look and find a black empty hole
You turn and see dreams falling apart
And can envisage no way to ever start
You crave the day it falls into place
and wonder if this will ever be the case
your life seems a battle with no reprise
and your emotions are hidden in disguise
You are confused you believe but are no longer sure
And the ache in your heart leaves you so sore
You feel pain, you feel fear but yet you are numb
Many understand you, yet you are dismissed by some
You start your battle which is for life
With or without your partner husband or wife
yet ultimately you have to succeed alone
And all they can do is throw you the bone
You have to believe surrender is the key
Yet I know the agony it may cause for me
To say goodbye to my faithful friend
A daunting task till the very end
The natture of the illness matters no more
Let it go so you can settle the score
It has been no friend it is all a lie
it has just been a debilitating tie
Realise this and you are halfway there
Accept it and you will no longer scare
Let go of the past and move yourself on
And the illness in you will one day be gone
Learn to love yourself and forgive
And let all the pain fall through the sieve
It is down to us we can change our ways
And thus look forward to some better days
It will never be easy we know that by now
and yet insuide we suffer a terrible row
Can i Cant i i'll just have the one
but then all the hard work will be undone
Face the feras and face the past
But dont believe to solve it too fast
Just know that theres a great future out there
One that our loved ones want to shar
That devil in us will always try to reappear
But now I feel extremely clear
I choose life over pain hurt and despair
Because i see now that i actually really do care.

There is a storm that rages
deep within my mind
A malstrom of thought engages
around my heart it winds
Dark clouds press down impending
my vision remains in a haze
Thunder beats without ending
my path seems an endless maze
But in you, O Lord, there is peace
the eye within the storm
For a time the tempest to cease
in you, safe, dry... warm.
