 NOT designed for the music forum.......
SO...Lil....would you please, please, please leave it where it is !
I have been sitting here for the last two hours doing my duty on my own forum and reading and writing to this forum and one other and while I have been doing this I have been - as usual - listening with my right ear to music TV via SKY and the many channels that are attached to the family package.
I usually listen to MTV2 or VH1/2 as I like rock and the more expression-full, ( if there is such a phrase ), music.
I have never REALLY looked up at the high-numbers on the Sky EPG music section as I have always been happy with rock-music..until this morning !
Today...by chance...I found a channel on EPG number 464 that has blown me away....This channel is called "Classic FM TV" and it has some amazing music that is leaning towards the classical theme but is more Pop than Classical.
It has artists like Vanessa Mae, Bond, Russel Watson and many other popular artists who are young and beautiful and amazingly talented.
I have, in my spare moments, deliberately listened to classical-music as I like Chopin and Mozart and Bach and Strauss but I mostly listen to heavy rock and sometimes Metal.
As I have read here over that last few days that many of you on the GENERAL DISCUSSION FORUM are instrumentalists and who play in marching bands and suchlike I just thought that if you have never listened to the channel mentioned before that you might enjoy it as much as I have today.

Please let me beg you again NOT to bump this particular threadstart over to the music forum as believe it or not but many peple who like music have OTHER interests as well and they might miss this channel I have found if they are here and this thread is over there !
Go and have a listen and look at it if you have that channel where you live and come back and give me your opinion of it please !
BTW....I DO NOT work for Sky Television ! 
Addendum....
I have just listened to the theme for the "Gladiator" movie...Simply terrific !

The thing about that Paps is we all have various tastes....while I spend most of my time in the SW forums I do occasionally check out the GDF and Movies section. The reason threads get moved is to keep some sort of organization going on otherwise the the boards tend to get rather like that mess known as the OTF. There are alot of people that visit the music forum that may never post there but they do visit it to keep up on things.

Yeah...Jed...I will give you AND Lil that point...BUT....Even although I agree that if a posting is just out-of-place then in that case it SHOULD be moved to the sub-forum that suits; if it is specifically designed for a general demographic then it should be left in that general demographic even if it has a special theme included in the post.
After all...every general discussion point has specifics set within it.
Sometimes regimentation is just that...regimentation for regimentation-sake !

Yeah.....That is specifically the reason why I wanted my two musically-minded posts published HERE instead of the music forum.
They are a bit in-bred and samey over there. Some might even call it "incestuous" !
