American Politics
Would someone care to enlighten me on the American system.
For example all the parties and such, and terms such as left-wing, right-wing, and etc. and how they apply to it

The US has a kind of two-party system...although there can be more but no one actually votes for them so whatever.
There are the democrats (left, liberal) and the republicans (right, conservative) ...now the problem is that these terms don't really apply to a real political system (Great Britain, Norway, France, Germany) since there are more parties and the words have a whole different meaning but at least for some americans that seems to be the whole world of politics....now I am of course not a specialist...but if you have any more questions I will try to answer them and I am sure here are people that know a lot more than I do.
