Yes, they are more dangerous then other pets. they are often rare things to begin with, and if they are not at that time they will probably be in the near future.
Not to mention that a lot of time people end up throwing the things away when they become older because they can't handle them anymore, also the living enviremont for the animals ussually sucks.
Some can be reasonable.. but having a pet lion or tiger is just ridiculous unless you're like a millionaire who has the means to keep it even when it is full grown.
Why do you think they should get ban? They are animals and no animal (according to my twin sister)should be baned.JM

It all depends on where the animals comes from and what environment and climate it has been exposed to. However,I think some people will go a little overboard when it comes to having exotic animals as pets......

Some should be, others are okay. Smaller snakes and lizards are fine, as well as some birds... Another issue is that there's a fairly substantial black market for various endangered birds and reptiles. Odd as it may seem, the pet trade has a not insignificant impact on said endangered birds and reptiles. Several species of parrots, especially.
No, Not at all. I think that as long as the owner is responsible enough to care for the pet and make sure it does not get out that it is fine. Btw I have 2 pythons, 1 Boa, 2 turtles, and a tortoise.

Exotic animals can be domesticated, tropical fish are considered exotic and there is no reason why they don't make suitable pets (exceptions apply, of course),
A fish and a snake are two very different things. Most tropical fish that people keep are relatively small, and don't require anything but clean water and food. It's hard to abuse a fish.
