as for that question i dont think so because dimples are caused by a dominant gene. so if your parents have dimples the chances are you will have dimples to.
What i mean is that after not having it for so long is it possible for them to sprout out full throttle because thats what has happned to me i mean i have always had dimples but only when i laugh but now even when i am talking they flash up its like they are on full power

Pilonidal dimple
Definition
Pilonidal dimple is a small pit or sinus in the sacral area at the very top of the crease between the buttocks.
Alternative Names
Sacral dimple
Considerations
The majority of pilonidal dimples are harmless, congenital anomalies that consist of a small depression or pit. There may be increased hairiness around the area.
The pilonidal dimple may also be a deep tract, rather than a shallow depression, leading to a sinus that may contain hair. These can become infected and drain. On rare occasions, the sinus may extend into the spinal cord.
During adolescence, the pilonidal dimple or tract may become infected, forming a cyst-like structure called a pilonidal cyst. These may require surgical drainage or total excision to prevent reinfection.
Causes
* congenital pilonidal dimple
* congenital dermal sinus (of which the dimple is the mildest form)
OK...when I was very young I had 2, one on each side of my cheeks...face that is.....now one is more prevalent then the other...So I only consider it one... ....and I like mine...
especially when you say you like them because dimples are meant to make females look more attractive. and make males look feminine so males tend not to like them.
