When falling does one feel/hear the wind shriek past themselves , or is that merely their bodies own interpretation of what the wind should sound like .

I remember once a few years ago being up at one of the coastal look outs, it was a really windy night, really windy, and the lookout is totally exposed. You could feel the wind of course, but you could definitely hear it, blowing over the stone.

i have to disagree
from personal experience (bridge jumping over the delaware river) when u first jump u do hear the noise but just b4 u hit the water everything goes silent.
