Studio Plants

There seems to be a lot of these in the forum, especially when it comes to the Movie Reviews section of this website.

How to spot them.

1. Start out with "Give your Review" in thread title.
2. "Legendary" and "Great" is usually used in the Review.
3. Member is always a new member of KMC
4. They always talk about stuff like cinematography and the direction of the movie, which no freaking comic book geek really cares about.

Dude, that's been going on for years here, and I think everybody realizes it, too.

It's always somebody like, "PirateLuvvee" (junior member), and their post is:

"omg, have you seen the new POTC? It is AWESOME!! Happy Dance Happy Dance!!!! Who else thinks it rocks??"

and so on.

IMO, any noob whose first post starts a new thread is one of them in some form or fashion. Except Gay Guy, of course.

Actually, you know how they have the rule that you have to post a certain number of posts before you can attach a link? It should be the same rule for starting a new thread. 100 posts, and you can start a new thread. That would eliminate virtually all of the "studio plants" because no one on company business is going to hang around that long before they can complete their assignment.

Unless they go to the OTF, where you can post a letter of the alphabet over and over again and still not be considered suspicious.

Can't argue with you there. I personally like posting more than creating threads anyway. If I create one I feel obligated to post and I like to go with the flow.
