Bush *****-slaps his own party... HAHAHA
On Wednesday Bush basically told his party (GOP / Conservatives) that they either [blindly] support his immigration reform bill of else be called "fear mongers"... columnist Linda Chavez when on to further scrutinize the Republican base for not following 'rank & file' to Bush's decree; calling them "xenophobes". What a day when G.W. spits in the eyes on his staunches supporters... many like Rush Limbaugh are in disbelief.
Have to ask yourself, WTF is Bush doing by distancing himself from the Conservatives?

quote: Friends of his from Texas were shocked recently to find him nearly wild-eyed, thumping himself on the chest three times while he repeated “I am the president!” He also made it clear he was setting Iraq up so his successor could not get out of “our country’s destiny.”

Yeah, except:

Well, Bush doesn't really have anything to lose. He already got his second term unfortunately.

I'm just waiting for the time when Bush does a Palpatine and starts shouting "POWER! UNLIMITED POWER!" while frying Ann Coulter with some force lightning.
See? Politics can still be fun!

I think ol' George has figured that the best way to get a republican into office in '08 is by distancing himself from other republicans
Of course there are the idiots who will never say he is wrong

I find it odd that the only assassination attempt on this President's life was by a pretzel. Damn thing should have finished the job.
